Have you ever dreamed of tackling one of Nepal's most iconic and thrilling trekking routes, only to hold back because you're unsure about the basic, remote teahouse accommodations and services along the way? If that sounds like you, we're excited to introduce a brand-new premium luxury trek along the Annapurna Circuit, combining high-altitude adventure with top-tier amenities and comfort.

The Annapurna Circuit Luxury Trek blends breathtaking mountain scenery, off-the-beaten-path wilderness, and rich Tibetan culture with premium comfort and elevated service even in the heart of a remote Himalayan trail. It follows the same classic route as the traditional Annapurna Circuit Trek, passing through key villages and stopping points such as Bhratang, Upper Pisang, Manang, Yak Kharka, Thorong Phedi, and Muktinath, and crossing the highest point at Thorong La Pass (5,416 m).

What sets the luxury version apart is the added comfort and convenience: premium lodges with superior rooms and amenities, private jeep support where feasible, an experienced guide and porter team, and an included flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu. In short, all the essential premium services are taken care of, so you can focus entirely on the experience.

The itinerary is extended to include Ghorepani Poon Hill, one of the most famous viewpoints in the Annapurna region, along with guided sightseeing tours in Kathmandu and Pokhara. This 15-day journey features around seven days of actual trekking, with built-in acclimatization days and a gradual pace. It is designed for a smooth, rewarding ascent, making it suitable even for travelers with moderate fitness and no prior trekking experience.

However, the trek still involves 5–6 hours of walking each day, with multiple ascents and descents across varied terrain, so a reasonable level of fitness is essential. Throughout the journey, you will be accompanied by an experienced local trekking guide who not only ensures your safety but also shares deep insights into Tibetan culture, mountain lore, and trail life, acting as both a trusted companion and your first line of support in the high Himalaya. Even though this is a luxury lodge trek, you will stay in premium teahouses run by local families, so the authentic cultural experience remains fully intact.

Bookings for the Annapurna Circuit Luxury Trek 2026 and 2027 are open. Dust off your hiking boots and tick off your bucket list now with us. Our pro expert teams will assist you. Our travel consultants will support you at every stage, from booking to pre-trek preparation, so you can set off with complete confidence.

Why choose the Annapurna Circuit Luxury Trek over regular packages?

The Annapurna Circuit Luxury Trek is designed for travelers who want to experience one of Nepal’s most iconic high-altitude routes without compromising on comfort, safety, or personalized service. Although the trail passes through remote mountain areas, premium services, private transportation, and a carefully planned itinerary make the journey more organized and comfortable.

Unlike a standard budget trek, the luxury package provides the best available lodges along the route, with private rooms, comfortable bedding, hot showers, and attached bathrooms where available. Upgraded meal options, private 4WD transfers, and porter support allow you to enjoy the landscapes and cultural experiences without worrying about basic facilities, long waits for shared transportation, or carrying heavy luggage.

The itinerary includes acclimatization time and regular breaks, helping you prepare for the demanding crossing of the pass. A dedicated licensed guide supports you throughout the trek, assists with route management and acclimatization, and shares insights into the local communities, Tibetan-influenced culture, monasteries, and traditional lifestyles of the Manang and Mustang regions.

The trek can be arranged as a private journey or for a small group, giving you greater flexibility with the walking pace, rest stops, and daily arrangements. Additional services, including guided sightseeing in Kathmandu and Pokhara and a scenic flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu, create a smooth travel experience from arrival to departure.

The luxury package does not remove the physical challenge of the Annapurna Circuit, which includes long walking days, steep ascents, and the 5,416-meter Thorong La Pass. Instead, it combines adventure with comfort and personalized support, making it ideal for first-time high-altitude trekkers, families, professionals with limited time, and travelers who want a more comfortable way to explore the Himalayas.

The tour lasts for around 5-6 hours, so basically you will get back to the hotel at 2:00-3:00 PM. You get enough time to buy gear, equipment, or other essentials at Thamel, the main tourism hub, and explore the bustling streets of Thamel.

Max Altitude: 1360 meters Meals: BreakfastAccommodation: 5 star hotel (Hyatt Regency, Yak and Yeti, Malla Hotel, Barahi Hotel)

Early in the morning, we'll take a drive to Besisahar at 7:00 AM through a private 4WD jeep or car, where the guide will come to pick you up at the hotel. We will have 5-6 breaks in between for coffee breaks, lunch, quick snacks, or rest time. The rest duration and stopping points can be set as you prefer, as we take a private vehicle. The roadway winds off through Prithvi Highway, passing by a lush green valley, diverse landscapes, rivers, waterfalls, several villages, and major towns. We'll reach by Besisahar around 4-5:00 PM and get checked in at the cozy Mandala or Gateway Himalayan Resort.

Max Altitude: 762 m | 2498 ft. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and DinnerAccommodation: Mandala ResortDuration: 6 hoursDistance: 174 km

Another road drive leads through off-road bumpy countryside, through Chame, the main entry point to the Annapurna Circuit, where we will stop by to have lunch, enjoy the village, and the surrounding Himalayan giants.

Bhratang is just a 3‑hour drive from Besisahar and is famous for its extensive apple orchards, managed by Agro Manang. Here, you can enjoy fresh apples, dried apple chips, apple juice, and even local apple wine.

On this trek, you will stay at the luxury Agro Manang Farmhouse, located right within the apple orchards. This gives you a unique hands‑on agri‑tourism experience: you can tour the apple farms, learn about the cultivation process, and relax in a premium lodge before continuing to higher altitudes.

Max Altitude: 2940 m | 9645 ft. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and DinnerAccommodation: Agro Manag Farmhouse (eco luxury lodge)Duration: 3-4 hoursDistance: 72 km

The hiking trail begins today, to Upper Pisang, navigating through subtropical pines, from where we reach Paungda Danda, called Heaven's Gate, which takes us to Dhukur Pokhari, with just two hours of walk. We'll stay here for a while for a quick lunch and enjoy the scenic surrounding landscape. Another 1-hour hike further, then, we will reach Upper Pisang, get checked into the cozy mountain lodge, enjoying the first close-up encounter of the Pisang Peak and the expansive Annapurna range.

Max Altitude: 3300 m | 10828ft. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and DinnerAccommodation: Luxury lodge teahouseDuration: 4-5 hoursDistance: 46 km

Today we take another ascending trail toward Manang, one of the most popular stopping points of the Himalayas, along the Marshyangdi Valley. The trail today, in comparison to the previous day, is quite challenging, but the front-row revealing view of the giants, such as Gangapurna, Tilicho Peak, and Annapurna II, keeps us engaged.

The hike traverses through Ghyaru and then Ngawal, a Tibetan-influenced village decorated with prayer flags, chortens, and mani walls, where we'll stop by and have our lunch, enjoying an hour, exploring the scenic hamlet. Afterwards, we take a downhill walk and visit the Braga Monastery, one of the oldest Buddhist historic monasteries, and pay our respects to the monks there. We will basically reach Manang by 5:00 PM, where the quick transformation of the surroundings leaves us speechless.

Max Altitude: 3540 m | 11614 ft. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and DinnerAccommodation: Tilicho HotelDuration: 7 hoursDistance: 16 km

On the 7th day, our first acclimatization is set at Manang, which is crucial, as from tomorrow, we will cross the altitude of 4000 meters. A short hike allows our body to gradually adjust to altitude and explore the major highlights as well. The short hikes include:

  • Option 1 - Gangapurna Lake (3540 m): An iconic viewpoint where the serene lake resides, formed by the Gangapurna glacier, with a panorama of the Annapurna range.
  • Option 2 - Lama Cave (Praken Gompa) and Manang Monastery

You essentially have two route options to choose from. After a brief overview of both routes, discuss them with your guide, who can recommend the better option based on the current trail conditions, weather, and your energy level.

Max Altitude: 3540 m | 11614 ft. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and DinnerAccommodation: Tilicho Hotel

Another day, another hike, begins with a climb to Yak Kharka, our first step above 4000 meters, where the terrain changes into rocky, low juniper scrubs and Tibetan plateau hills. As we ascend higher, the snowcapped peaks of Chulu Weest and Gunsag fully dominate the sky, and the old stone houses in between, with the locals engaging in daily activities and yaks herding, catch our full attention. As the name suggests, Yak Kharka means Yak Pasture, marking our resting point, where we might encounter Himalayan blue sheep and surely mules and yaks grazing in the valley.

Max Altitude: 4030 m | 13314 ft Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and DinnerAccommodation: Local Guest HouseDuration: 3-4 hoursDistance: 7.6 km

Today, we trek toward Thorong Phedi, the last stopping point before crossing the pass. The trail is quite intense as it goes through rugged and rough sections, so be cautious and walk along with the guide. Upon arrival, check in at the lodge and take some time to rest and prepare for tomorrow, as the big day is marked to be tomorrow, with the hike starting very early at 3:00 AM, so sleep early

Max Altitude: 4525 m | 14826ft Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and DinnerAccommodation: Local Guest HouseDuration: 6-7 hoursDistance: 4 hours

We'll begin so today, early (around 3:00–4:00 AM, depending on the season), to cross the Thorong La Pass. Please take note that an early morning ascent is important to avoid the heavy winds, which start to occur from mid-day, and not to miss out on the sunrise view.

The ascent is demanding, but the payoff is extraordinary: 360° views of the Himalayas, with deep gorges below, the Tibetan plateau to the north, and the Annapurna massif straight ahead. Peaks such as Tawa Himal, Purbung Himal, Purkung Himal, Yakwakang, and others create a panorama that makes the entire journey feel truly worthwhile.

After spending time at the pass, we descend toward Muktinath, entering the Mustang region. Muktinath is a sacred pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists, famous for its hot springs, 108 water taps, the natural flaming gas known as Agni, and a large statue of Lord Buddha. Many devotees, especially Hindus, bathe in the 108 taps and soak in the hot springs, believing it washes away sins and brings blessings and good fortune.

Overnight at Hotel De Purang, with an impeccable view of the Himalayan peaks, of the Dhaulagiri massif, and an upfront expansive insight into Nilgiri.

Max Altitude: 5416m | 17769 ft. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and DinnerAccommodation: Hote De PurangDuration: 9-10 hoursDistance: 18 km

After having a fulfilling breakfast, we will take a comfortable jeep ride to Tatopani (Hot Spring), passing by Marpha and Jomsom. From Tatopani, we hike to Ghorepani, followed by lush green forests of rhododendron, offering a refreshing new contrast, passing by villages of Gurung and Magar, terraced farms, a completely unique experience compared to the circuit trail.

Checked in at Hotel Sunny, run by the Gurung family, with a great window view, an attached bathroom, and a hot shower.

Max Altitude: 2874 m | 9426 ft Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and DinnerAccommodation: Hotel SunnyDuration: 6 hoursDistance: 89 km

An early morning hike at 4:00 AM, with a stone staircase ascent, takes us to the Poon Hill View Point at 3210 meters, with the iconic Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges surrounding you. After spending some time here, we will return to the teahouse, have our breakfast, and descend to Banthati and bid goodbye to the Annapurna region, as we'll go to Pokhara in just 1 hour on this very day.

Get checked in at Temple Tree Resort and Spa, and soak in the jacuzzi and have a quick spa session, relaxing muscle, and enjoy the evening walk by the lake.

Max Altitude: 830 m | 2623 ft Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and DinnerAccommodation: Temple Tree Resort and SpaDuration: 2.5 hrs walk & 3 hrs driveDistance: 16 km

The tour guide will come to pick you up at the hotel around 8-9:00 AM for the sightseeing tour at Pokhara: Devi's Fall, Mahendra Cave, Pagoda Peace Stupa (Shanti Stupa - located on the hillside), Pumdikot, and maybe enjoy boating or kayaking at Lakeside. We'll take an evening flight to Kathmandu, which only lasts for 25-30 minutes, and get checked in at the 5-star-rated hotel where we stayed before.

Max Altitude: 1360 meters Meals: Breakfast and Farewell DinnerAccommodation: 5 star hotel (Hyatt Regency, Yak and Yeti, Malla Hotel, Barahi Hotel)Duration: 30 minutes

Today is a free day to relax and explore Kathmandu at your own pace. Our guide will accompany you and can help arrange any of the following activities:

  • Take a short trip to Patan or Bhaktapur Durbar Square to admire ancient Newari architecture and craftsmanship.
  • Enjoy an evening of traditional Nepali cultural dinner with live music and dance performances.
  • Relax with a spa treatment, Ayurvedic massage, or wellness session at a premium hotel.

Max Altitude: 1360 meters Meals: BreakfastAccommodation: 5 star hotel (Hyatt Regency, Yak and Yeti, Malla Hotel, Barahi Hotel)

Today marks the end of your journey in the land of the Himalayas. After a final breakfast, you will be transferred by private vehicle to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight back home. Until we meet again on another adventure in Nepal.

Essential Information

Trek Difficulty

The Annapurna Circuit Trek is renowned as one of the more challenging Himalayan treks, but the luxury version makes the journey significantly more comfortable. With premium lodges, private transport, and a carefully paced, well‑acclimatized itinerary, you can enjoy the thrilling adventure with less physical strain and greater comfort. Even beginners or senior citizens, with prior preparations and good shape, can complete this trek, as it follows a moderate-paced hike, 4-6 hours daily.

The most demanding day is the Thorong La pass crossing at 5,416 meters, which typically takes 8–9 hours. Aside from this, the daily walking distances are generally manageable. However, the trail features varied terrain, steep ascents and descents, rugged paths, and rocky sections, so a good level of fitness, stamina, and mental resilience is essential.

The trail doesn't include any technical walks; some routes may be confusing for first-timers, but as long as you stay along with the trekking guide, you are safe and taken care of. Before your trip, prepare your body with regular cardio and strength training, or by doing short local hikes. This builds the endurance needed for long walking days and helps your body cope better with daily altitude gain on the trek. As it is a luxury version trek, designed for comfortable excursion, it focuses mainly on making the trek smoother and increasing the success rate, through the best lodging and expert teams.

Best Time for Annapurna Circuit Luxury Trek

The ideal seasons to explore the Annapurna Circuit in a luxury or standard way are Spring and Autumn, offering clear mountain views, mild temperatures, and stable dry terrain to pass through. The chances of rain and snowfall during this period are typically low, which makes the whole landscape seem even more beautiful, with no gloominess. While the months of March, April, and May that fall under Spring are popular for red rhododendrons and oaks, thriving in the green forested area, Autumn is known for festivals of Dashain and Tihar in Nepal, giving an opportunity to experience local culture.

On the other hand, the winter and monsoon seasons are considered are off season time, having a high possibility of unstable climate, unsafe routes, blockage of the pass, and natural hazards such as avalanches and landslides. Even for experienced hikers, traveling to high altitude comes with challenges, especially with unpredictable weather. For this reason, we recommend the spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) seasons for all trekkers, as they offer the most stable conditions and clear mountain views.
