The 4-day Mardi Himal Budget Trek is the most affordable and time-efficient way to experience the standard Mardi Himal route, starting and ending in Pokhara. The journey explores the traditional villages, distinct landscapes, and iconic himalayan range. If you are searching for a quick escape to the mountains without having to deal with hectic preparations or want to spend thousands of dollars, and are considering a budget trip, then this package suits you perfectly.
It is a fast-track trekking plan for fit trekkers who want to reach the iconic base camp within a short time, with a daily pace of 5–6 hours of hiking. This budget-friendly 4-day package offers the same trekking experience as the longer-day options, following the standard route with a summit at Mardi Himal View Point / Base Camp at 4,500 meters, along with a guided package and tea house accommodation throughout.
The trails pass through the lush green woodlands with thriving rhododendrons, oaks, and juniper trees from the start. Slowly, the gradual transition reveals the magnificent views of the towering himalayan giants, such as Annapurna I, II, South, Himchuli, Macchapuchhare, Gangapurna, Dhaualgiri, and many more. The terrain first traverses the forest area on the first day and gets more open and wide on the following consecutive days. What makes the trek more fascinating is that you get to walk through less crowded areas and remote settlements of the Gurung and Magar villages, with rich cultural experiences and encounters with pristine flora and wildlife.

Trekking Route
The 4 Days Mardi Himal Trek begins with a drive from Pokhara to Kande, followed by a trek to Forest Camp on the first day. The drive takes around 2 hours, and the walk continues for 4-5 hours, making it a fairly demanding start as the trail climbs uphill throughout.
Continuing the trek on the second day, for another 5 to 6 hours toward High Camp, passing through Low Camp and Badal Danda. Along the way, trekkers enjoy excellent front views of the mountains, especially the Annapurna massif and Mount Fishtail.
On the third day, an early morning hike at around 3:30 AM takes us to Mardi Base Camp, the highest point and ultimate destination of the trek. From here, we get to enjoy wide panoramic views of the iconic Himalayan peaks. After spending some time at Base Camp, the trail descends to Badal Danda, one of the most scenic ridges on the route, where you stay overnight. On the final day, the journey descends to Sidding village, through a dense forest area, and concludes with a drive back to Pokhara.
