Over 20 years ago, the founder, Min Bahadur Gurung, established "Destination Himalaya Treks and Expedition" with the simple belief that everyone must find a profound journey of self-discovery and connect with nature. After spending most of his life journey in the great Himalayas being a tour leader/guide since the year 2000 A.D, Min started his company in the heart of Kathmandu, Thamel with a dream that every enthusiastic wanderer explore the best out of the great Himalayas and make memories that are within them forever.
Today, Destination Himalaya Treks and Expedition has team members, including climbing guides, porters, tour operators, operating officers, and local community representatives, with experience in serving more than a hundred enthusiastic wanderers every year.
