Early in the morning, soon after we wake up, we’ll take a direct, enchanting flight to Lukla. Still, first of all, your trekking guide, who will assist you throughout the journey, will come to pick you up via private vehicle. Upon reaching Lukla, also known as Tenzing Hillary Airport, the walking trail soon begins following the Thado Koshi River, passing by the dense forested area in the first half and crossing several suspension bridges in between. Then, the sherpa villages start to open up, dotted with chortens and small whitewashed mani walls, and traversing through Cheplung and Ghat along the 1st view of Mt. Tharmseku, we will arrive at Phakding, located near the glacier-fed Dudh Koshi River.

Today, the hike starts crossing a suspension bridge over the Dudh Koshi River and many others, including the Hillary suspension bridge. After having a delicious breakfast, with the breathtaking views of the mountains surrounding us, we will take an uphill walk to the Everest View Hotel, Attaining to the rooftop terrace of this hotel the Himalayan Range reveals it’s panorama 360 views thoroughly, such as Lotshe, Nuptshe, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and stretches to Pumori, Ama Dablam along the Mt. Although this Everest Panorama Trek doesn't go beyond the normal pace of a hike of 5-6 hours, it is highly suggested to at least get some exercise to build up the stamina before 1 week of arrival, you can just do simple cardio such as short hike nearby, running in treadmill (helps in breathing at uphill walk), swimming (if possible) or if that sounds not your forte then, just do up and downhill walk via staircase. That way, you can stretch the body muscle and also build some calf stamina for continuous walking. Throughout the Everest View Trek 7 days, you will be placed at the standard hotel/lodges available along the Khumbu region, in Phakding (1 night), Namche (2 nights), Tengboche (1 night), Monjo, and Lukla (2 nights respectively) with the most comfortable rooms possible. A Typical Day during Everest View Trekking (What everyday looks like)

Every day unfolds something new and unique, whether it comes to experiences, or the diverse mountain views and landscapes, each day offers you surely the best memories to hold forever. The morning begins with a sunrise over the Mt. Ama Dablam and Tharmseku and other surrounding peaks. Breakfast will be served at 7:00 AM, and before 8:00 AM, our everyday hike begins, which stands out to be a favourable time so the excessive heat won't bother us, and we can do a chill hike. 

From dense forested areas of blooming rhododendrons and pines to the rugged, steep terrains with the best possible stunning views of several snowy, frosty peaks, such as Pumori, Lotshe, Nuptse, and even Mt. Permits required for Everest View Trek

To do the Everest Panorama Trek, there are two permits required, firstly, the Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality Entrance Permit and another Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality Entrance Permit, which can be attained through a local registered trekking agency.

These permits are the same, just like the Everest Base Camp, hence if you want to extend the trek from Tengboche to Kalapatthar, then you do not have to pay any additional cost.

  • Sagarmatha National Park Permit Cost: USD 30, i.e, approximately NRS 3200 for foreigners; however, for the SAARC individual, the price is just half, costing around USD 15, NRS 1800.
  • Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality Permit cost: It approximately costs USD 18, i.e, NPR 2000/-, which pricing stays the same for foreigners and even Nepalese citizens as well.
