Let yourself fully immerse in the panoramic views, while flying to Paro - also known as one of the most beautiful flights in the world, showing great transition. One of our airport Bhutanese representatives and a Bhutanese local tour guide who will assist you throughout the journey, will meet you at the airport exit door. Soon after a brief introduction and customs formalities, the driveway begins towards Thimphu - the capital city of Bhutan, covering almost 64 kilometers, from Paro International Airport. Soon after, having breakfast, today, till afternoon from morning is dedicated fully dor Punakha Tour, visiting some of the iconic temples, and dzongs holding meaningful historic significance to Bhutanese locals, and other Tibetan Buddhist followers across the globe. 

The morning begins with a visit to Punakha Dzong, also known as Puntang Dechen Photrang Dzong, which was built in 1637 by the legend - the first Zhabdrung Rinpoche, who founded Bhutan as a nation. Located at the confluence of Pho Chhu (father) and Mo Chhu (mother), it also holds and signifies the bond of males and females, signifying the spiritual site, love, and bond. While visiting this dzong, one can take a gaze over the intricate woodwork and the talent of Bhutanese craftsmanship back to ancient times, and also get blessings of happiness to oneself, as it is also regarded as - Palace of Great Happiness or Bliss.

Soon after immersing here in the dzong, we'll take a short cross-over one of the longest suspension bridges in Bhutan, over the river - Punakha Suspension Bridge, gazing at the lavender shade of wild bloomer reflection in the river.

Leaving Punakha Dzong site, we will take a drive to Chimi Lhakhang, perched on a hillock, said to bless couples with fertility, if worshipped. That is why it is named the Temple of Fertility. After taking lunch here at Punakha, we will take a drive back to Paro for straight 4 to 5 hours, enjoying the countryside, hillside, lush valley, and riverside along the way. 

One of the best parts of the road driveway stands out to be the Simtokha Dzong - a small fortress surrounded by the Bhutanese Himalayan range on the southern side in Thimphu. The evening concludes with revisiting the Bhutanese markets and favourite places with a delicious breakfast, to savour.

Then, leaving our vehicle behind, we will start our 2 to 3 hours hike, leading through an uphill ascent, and a final stone step, that takes us to the cliff side where the Paro Taktashang resides, in its artistic form, rewarding us with the whole panoramic view of Paro valley. Rewarding with the best view possible and paying other temples nearby and shrines, we will descend to the base and have our lunch, indulging in the beauty of the surroundings.
