Essential Guidelines for Safety during the Bardia National Park Tour

We are all quite familiar with how sensitive it is to take care of wild species that exist on this earth, and specifically, when we are heading for any jungle safari tour, we must be sensitive, and it is crucial to follow certain rules and regulations while doing the Bardia National Park Tour. Many of them are mentioned in the headboard, in the passbook (ticket to enter), and in every section, but it is always better to know beforehand, so we become alert and pay respect to the pristine Himalayan flora and fauna:

  1. After you enter Bardia National Park, always make sure that you follow the guide's instructions properly and don't go beyond them. Please remember that they are highly experienced and always prioritize your safety first.
  2. Maintain a safe distance of at least 20-50 meters from the wildlife, and don't try to provoke, teach, or make loud noises that trigger them. Besides, follow the trails that are guided to you, walk along the guide, and do not go off designated paths, which sometimes lead to animal habitats, which, of course, is certainly risky (highly suggested).
  3. While clicking pictures, do not use the flashlight, especially when it starts to get dark. What happens is that when you use the flashlight, it distracts them and might rush to you.
  4. It is highly restricted to consume smoking and alcoholic beverages, inside the park premises, as it can be hazardous for the jungle area and animals as well.
  5. Do not use plastic bottles; instead, carry a reusable bottle and do not litter. Carry out the trash and waste, if possible, then pick up any waste you see, even if it doesn't belong to you, as in this modern world, "Saving Mother Nature" is what we believe and fight for.
  6. Please respect the Local Tharu Community and their culture and tradition, as they are so sensitive to customs that are passed down to them. Even if you encounter such ethics and perceptions that do not match your overview, do not provoke them, as cultural differences from others are the ones that set them apart.
  7. Do not feed animals, if you are opting for one, then please ask the permission from the premises and the guidelines and act accordingly.
